What is a proper encore wedding gift?

While not a first for either of my friends, they are getting married after living together for a decade. Since she is an avid cook, I considered new knives but am not sure if this is considered a proper wedding gift.

Me First Dear Me First , We have more parental issues to deal with these days than we did in the past. In fact, more weddings are encore wedding than first, which reflects this trend.
